The Philosophy of Beards – Finally we Know
The beard is here to stay and stronger than ever. Reminding us that since ancient times the beard has been an essential symbol of manly distinction, Thomas S. Gowing (whom we trust had a spectacular beard) presents a moral case for eschewing the bitter bite of the razor. He contrasts the vigor and daring of the bearded—say, lumberjacks and Lincoln—with the undeniable effeminacy of the shaven. Manliness is found in the follicles, and the modern man should not forget that “ladies, by their very nature, like everything manly,” and cannot fail to be charmed by a fine “flow of curling comeliness.” Even old men can hold on to their vitality via their beards: “The Beard keeps gradually covering, varying and beautifying”. The Philosophy of Beards is bot a good read and very educational. Get it.

Coffee Houses are always looking for the new special something. Back to the roots it is for the Cereal Killer Cafe on London’s Brick Lane. Cereals. As simple as that. This is how they describe themselves: We are the first speciality Cereal Cafe. We are obsessed with everything cereal. We sell over 120 different types of cereal from around the world, if we can source it, we will sell it. 
To create the perfect bowl of cereal you can choose from 30 different varieties of milk and 20 different toppings. To give you the real sugar rush feeling you had when you were a kid come and visit us for breakfast, lunch or dinner in our nostalgic cafe displaying hundreds of pieces of memorabilia from the 80s and 90s for you to feast your eyes on.

Instagram can be boring but it can also be fun – lots of fun. Klaus Biesenbach, the director of New York’s Museum of Modern Art (Moma) is one of the coolest dudes on Instagram. Pictures from his office in New York, Selfies with the stars, relevant art works, exclusive picutres taken by trending artists and lots more. Always worth a visit.

German rapper Cro – yes, the dude with the panda mask – has a hidden talent. He is a really talented artist and fashion designer. His label Viovio is hitting al the right notes and has a growing following. All his creations are sold out within a few hours and kids and hipsters alike are crowding the website whenever there is a new collection or even just a new item available. Overrated? Maybe. But definitely pretty cool.

There was a time when people were telling us they invented a skateboard that can be used off road. That was bullcrap. Now there is an alternative. Onewheel is a totally new experience that is both completely unique while incorporating your favorite elements of other boardsports. This looks so much fun. We want one of those. Kickstarter funded this now is reality.
