This Australian brand is around since 1994 and is just amazing. When it comes to design this is probably as good as it gets. Just get a board and start chilling. Globe was founded by two brothers down under and has conquered this world. I know these boards are around a bit. But I just saw the new designs and they are amazing. These are some of the boards TrendEngel likes the most:

Touchnote Wins the Race For Best Postcard App
The idea is simple. Take a picture anywhere in the world on the smart phone touch the send button and a real postcard is on its way to whoever you want. Oh, real means PRINTED – on paper or whatever they use. This is not new and there are many apps doing this. PostDroid, Postino and Postagram are some of them. The best is Touchnote. No doubt. Just phantasmic. Check it out. One of Touchnote’s novel features is the optional map print out. When you’re sending out a postcard from your phone, Touchnote reads your GPS location and can include a micro Google map image of your whereabouts, which it prints above the ‘TO’ address. This map block also includes the date and the city or town name, printed in text.
The House That Groaned – Read This Now
Karrie Fransman’s cartoon strips, which have appeared in the Guardian, and her graphic novel The House That Groaned, which won the Observer Book of the Month award, often – as the title suggests – capture the way that places themselves can become characters in a story. From a blustery park bench in ‘The Night I Lost My Love’ around which the course of a whole life appears to turn to a boxy Camden hovel which would sometimes catch the light in a certain way that reflected the road on the ceiling, places often have an uncanny knack for surprising us.
One of the best reads in a long time. No doubt.
Ridley’sGames Room – Stylish British Games
Ridley’s Games Room brings together a collection of six classic games featuring striking geometric patterns in vivid colours that ‘dance upon the eye’ with a hypnotic effect. Upon closer inspection the mid-century inspired patterns can be seen to relate back to their respective games, for instance the triangles of the backgammon box mimic the games iconic board design and likewise the squares of the chess board can be seen in its 3 dimensional cube pattern. Dominoes and Backgammon are our favorite.
