The Truth has it all – Deception, humor, suspense and style. The play is running at the legendary Wyndham Theater in London and is so much fun to watch. THE TRUTH is a biting comedy which examines the complex relationship of two couples entangled in the politics of extra marital affairs, friendship, deceit and ultimately, the truth.. The Truth is funny, thought-provoking and plays seamlessly as a dream. It owes something to Les Liaisons Dangereuses (also translated by Hampton) and more (a debt acknowledged by author Florian Zeller) to Pinter’s Betrayal. It is an unusually accomplished piece about two unfaithful couples. A millefeuille of truth and deceit, it keeps us guessing: duped, enlightened, duped again. Fjällräven Kanken – All Made Out Of Water Bottles
The classic Swedish “Kånken” backpack hasn’t changed very much since it was first designed for schoolchildren in 1978, with one new exception: Now it comes in a version made from recycled plastic water bottles.
They decided to make the entire bag—including the lining and shoulder straps—from recycled plastic. One of the backpacks, called the Re-Kånken, uses 11 former plastic bottles; a mini version uses nine bottles.
When the bag wears out, because all of the parts are made from the same material, it can be returned to a retail store and recycled into new fabric. Fjällräven is also hoping that cities will also start recycling synthetic fabrics, so people can eventually just drop an old bag in a local recycling bin.

Crisis In Six Scenes – Woody Allen On TV
Woody Allen’s upcoming Amazon Studios series Crisis In Six Scenes takes a jaundiced look back at the 1960s or, perhaps, at the way people largely went about their lives ignoring the era’s vast social changes for as long as possible. That’s at least judging by the first look at the series, in which it’s firmly established that Woody Allen is incapable of looking like James Dean.
Along with Allen, Crisis In Six Scenes stars Miley Cyrus, Elaine May, Rachel Brosnahan, John Magaro, Michael Rapaport, Margaret Ladd, David Harbour, Joy Behar, Christine Ebersole, Becky Ann Baker, Lewis Black and Rebecca Schull. It premieres on Amazon September 30 and, as Allen confirmed earlier this year, will consist of only one season. The series will stream on Amazon in September.

Sour Patch Kids – The New Flavors Rock…and a Vodka Shot
Sour tasting candy is a science. And nothing tastes better than Sour Patch Kids. But now there is a challenger. The new tastes of sour Patch Kids. Soda and extreme are our 2 favorites. Just amazing. But now there is an even weirder trend: The Sour Patch Kids Vodka Shot.
This is of course an american “tradition”. Here is how to do it
Ingredients:
2 cups Sour Patch Kids, divided
20 ounces flavored vodka (we like Smirnoff Sourced pineapple)
1/2 cup sugar
1 lemon, zested
1 lime, zested
Directions:
To a shallow bowl, add the sugar, lemon and lime zest. Mix until combined.
To a shallow plate, add about 1/4 cup of water (or vodka), and dip the shot glasses into the water. (This will help the sugar stick to the rims of the shot glasses.)
Once you dip the shot glasses into the water, immediately dip them into the sugar mixture.
Add 2 – 3 Sour Patch Kids to each shot glass.
Add 1/2 cup of Sour Patch Kids and the vodka to a cocktail shaker, working in batches. (You can use your favorite flavored vodka or regular vodka — the vodka will begin to taste like Sour Patch Kids the more they sit.)
Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
Fill each shot glass with 2 ounces of the candy-infused vodka.

Philippe et Sophie Lacoste bought the brand 2 years ago and are in the process of creating something really beautiful The flagship store is Paris is leading the way. Not only the legendary surfers and skiers gear but much more. And yes, I know it’s summer but sometimes early is not early enough.
Warpaint Try it Poppy – Interesting Stuff
Warpaint is one of TrendEngel’s favorite bands – for sure. Listening to their first offering of their new album Heads Up is an interesting experience.
