Tadao Ando is one of the most important architects of our time. Many architects begin their careers designing private houses, but few continue doing so after they have achieved a certain level of fame. And is one of those. Ridley’sGames Room – Stylish British Games
Ridley’s Games Room brings together a collection of six classic games featuring striking geometric patterns in vivid colours that ‘dance upon the eye’ with a hypnotic effect. Upon closer inspection the mid-century inspired patterns can be seen to relate back to their respective games, for instance the triangles of the backgammon box mimic the games iconic board design and likewise the squares of the chess board can be seen in its 3 dimensional cube pattern. Dominoes and Backgammon are our favorite.

Zen Advanced – Kickstarter Key Chain
This is a very smart product. Zen Advanced is the creation of the small Australian company Inventek. They have way exceeded their Kickstarter goal – but you can still be part of it for a few days. Check out Zen Advanced on Kickstarter.
The Key chain is all you ever wanted. Smart and useful and well designed. Each Zen Advanced key organiser has one coloured (anodised) aluminium side and one natural finish. As well as looking great they also divide the unit into two distinct sides for easy recognition while the tough lightweight aluminium frame wont rust or corrode.

This is a bit of a follow up to last weeks book: Philosophy of the Beard. TrendEngel did extensive research into the world of barbershops. This is what we came up with. Barber & Parlour in Shoreditch is the coolest of them all. Not only for a beard trim but also for a hair cut or a quick bite. Make sure you get a reservation the next time you are in London.

Pictures from his office in New York, Selfies with the stars, relevant art works, exclusive picutres taken by trending artists and lots more. Always worth a visit.
